With some of the strongest Digital Abstract work I have come across, tonare, aka Rone Marshall creates amazing, fluid, intricate pieces using Photoshop and Cinema 4D. I first came across tonares work through Deviant Art and have been an avid watcher ever since. For more of his Inspirational Artwork check out his Gallery and Website.
p_h_o_e_n_y_x, aka Artur N has a gallery full of imagination, techincal ability and, as the example above shows, a fantastic abstract asthetic. Check out His DA Gallery for some more gems and links to his other accounts on the net.
Inspired by Ancient Cultures, Artist Dominic Brown’s abstract compositions, such as ‘On the Edge of Dimension 13′ (shown above), are a striking use of bold colours, hand drawn abstract lines and a ton of imagination.
I’ve been a fan of Graffiti since I first saw it, over 20 years ago. I ‘ve seen it evolve, take on a set of standard forms and then evolve again. As a fan and designer I like to see Graffiti pushed on, past the standard type forms, while still retaining the bold, exciting essence of Graffiti/Hip hop.
Giedrius aka Giega is a Lithuanian Graffiti artist using complex organic forms to develop a style that both takes the Artform forward, while still being rooted in Graffiti tradition. Throwing up intricate one off pieces on walls, while sketching out an abstract organic style that dazzles and doesnt rely on lettering.
Check out his Gallery at Deviant Art for some very inspiring Art.
The above piece ‘Metra turntable render’ was created by Graffiti Technica and pretty much blew my head off. He says he is “dedicated to the progression of hardcore electronic art and 3d graffiti”, the dedication shows in the work with amazing forms and Ideas, executed to a high level in a range of software packages. For more videos from Graffiti Technica please visit his Youtube page, or for some equally amazing stills head over to his Site, which also has Articles, background info and more.
HerbieCans is a talented, highly skilled Animator and Designer from the Canary Islands. Herbie has a host of charming and hilarious characters you wish had their own cartoon, as well as having a vivid design flair that takes her work to another level. You can see more funny and eye popping work at her gallery, and also follow her in Spanish and English! (how thoughtful ) on her blog.
Zim and Zou are a talented Graphic design duo from France. They create pieces like ‘Please recycle’ (above) by physically cutting it out of paper, hanging, then photographing it. In an age when the Computer can make a designer, lets say, a little deskbound, its refreshing to see people using a more traditional method yet still producing fantastic modern work. You can check out more physically created pieces, as well as 2d design at their gallery.
The Year is 2055. The robot battalions are defeated, President Obama Jnr is in the White house and soap is free. You step outside of your house and make your way to the local library. Its Big, it houses plenty of reading material, and its friggin hardcore. Anyway, that’s my take on this exceptional piece ‘grad lvl’ by Mariusz Czelusniak.
